What we collect
We only collect what you give us, or what you save while using Budlytix:
- Waitlist: email, postal code, and whether you are a shopper, retailer, or brand.
- Contact: name, email, topic, and message.
- Store claim: the licence and contact details you submit.
- Account: your email. We send a sign-in link. There is no password.
- Saved and notes: products and stores you save, Not for me, and private notes on your account.
- On this device only: age confirmation, and the postal code or city you use for search.
- Product analytics: how you search, browse products and stores, compare prices, save items, and sign in. We use PostHog for this. We do not record session replays, email addresses, private note text, exact GPS coordinates, or authentication tokens in analytics.
How we use it
We use this information to run the current site. We do not sell cannabis, run checkout, or deliver products.
- Show licensed retailers and any public menu information we have for your area.
- Keep Saved, Not for me, and private notes on your signed-in account.
- Review licensed-store claims.
- Read messages sent through Contact.
- Email waitlist updates for your area.
- Send your sign-in link.
- Understand how shoppers use search, product pages, store pages, and Saved features so we can improve Budlytix.
Who can see it
We do not sell your information. Hosting, account, and analytics providers process data to run the site, send sign-in emails, and measure product usage.
Budlytix admin can view waitlist signups, store claims, and contact messages. Other shoppers cannot see your Saved lists or private notes.
On this device
Age confirmation and your search location stay in your browser. They are not part of your Budlytix account.
